Charlotte and Jesse live in San Fransico, USA. They flew to the beautiful Thalassines beach Villa wedding venue in Cyprus with a small group of 12 family and friends. Both Charlotte and Jesse got ready in the villa with their guests.
Once dressed, Jesse and his groomsmen made their way down to the stunning beach venue. A beautiful shaded area on warm white sand made for a truly magical setting. They waited with anticipation while Charlotte’s flower girl and two bridesmaids walked down the aisle with beaming smiles.
Charlotte walked down the aisle in a Mia Bella Couture dress – her father smiled beside her.
The ceremony was by far my favourite of this year.
The couple exchanged vows that they had lovingly handwritten themselves. Charlotte’s were read from the waterproof notebook she keeps with her at all times when working away at sea. There was not a dry eye in the group, myself included.
Hand made rings, made by Jesse, we exchanged and Charlotte’s siblings all played music during the ceremony, oh did I mention her father took the ceremony!
From the venue, to the personal touches, to the raw intimacy of the ceremony- this was a stand out wedding for me. So much love was shared between the beautiful couple and their adoring family.
Thalassines is a truly beautiful venue, and is fast becoming one of my favourite to shoot.
We wish Charlotte and Jesse as wonderful life together, and if their lovely wedding was anything to go by, they’ll be blissful always.
