Southend Barns, just outside of Chichester is stunning venue and one I love working at. So of course I was super excited about shooting Flic and Alex’s day. Sadly the weather had other ideas but this did not dampen spirits. Flic started the day getting ready in the perfectly set cottage at Southend Barns. Her and the bridesmaids were all in amazing spirit and enjoying plenty of bubbles and nibbles. Alex got ready just a few miles away with the guys, in a quirky Air BnB.

As Alex and Flic’s guests, all from around the world. With the majority of Flic’s family from Australia started to arrive. Flic added the final touches to her look and prepared herself to meet at Alex at the top of the aisle. The ceremony passed perfectly, with bags of laughter and lots of happy tears. The hand written vows were a lovely touch to the ceremony. Post ceremony we all headed back out to the wonderful patio at Southend Barns, to enjoy some drinks. Despite the weather the guests all celebrated with Flic and Alex.

Whilst the guests found their seats we nipped out to shoot some portraits in the ground at Southend Barns. We also used some of the indoor space and window light. We headed back in for some hilarious speeches, even Flic got up gave her own speech. The long table setup was great for guests to interact together and allowed for an amazing atmosphere.

We headed out after the wedding breakfast, to capture a few more couple portraits before heading back in for the bouquet throwing and first dance. Flic and Alex also braved the rain for some great shots to finish the day. It was a pleasure being back at Southend Barns. I wish Alex and Flic all the best for the future.
