Clapton Country Club is a small intimate and very quirky venue, tucked away in Clapton, London. It was the most perfect venue for Anna and Dave’s gorgeous wedding day. Upon first meeting Anna and Dave for their engagement shoot in London I knew their day was going to be blast! Anna opted to get ready at home with her girls and Dave got ready at the gorgeous Hoxton Hotel. Anna was super relaxed and enjoying getting ready, followed by a nice surprise of gifts from Dave. The guys were all wearing kilts to tie in Dave’s Scottish roots, the Tartan all relative to his home town in Scotland.

Once ready, Dave headed to Hackney Town Hall after a quick beer with friends and family. Shortly followed by Anna, who arrived to the sound of bag pipes sounding out across Hackney. The ceremony was full of laughs and some very sweet hand written vows. After the ceremony I managed to grab a few shots in the awesome interior of Hackney Town Hall. We headed out on to the steps outside Hackney Town Hall to grab a big group shot of everybody before moving on to Clapton Country Club.

A short Uber ride later, I arrived at Clapton Country to club. The decor of this venue is stunning and creates such an amazing atmosphere. Upon arrival the guests were waiting with confetti, as guests mingled we captured some group shots with Anna and Dave’s families. Followed by some fun portraits of Anna and Dave which also included their gorgeous pup! I’m not sure who Dave loves more!  The wedding breakfast room was set so tastefully with long tables, full of indoor plants and gorgeous table favours.

Post dinner, we headed out for a fun couple shoot in the last bit of light and then headed back in for some hilarious speeches. The evening was finished off with traditional Scottish Ceilidh dancing, which was full of fun, hell I even got involved! Before leaving I popped out with Anna and Dave to grab some night images.
