I’ll help out like family, and melt into the crowd – joking with your mates, and making friends with your mum. Just being a human, you know? That “hey Matt!” familiar face, not “oh shit, it’s this guy again!”
And if they do ‘the pose’? I’ll take the piss, and catch them laughing.
Because that’s where the real magic is found…
In those in-between moments when the camera’s forgotten. When everyone’s swept up in the fun, and celebrating with you – unaware, happy, and comfortably them.
And as you look through your wedding album, that’s what you’ll see.
The story of your day, told just as it was. And all those unguarded moments that show how very loved you are.
We won’t be racing from Confetti, to Groups, to Portraits (do not pass go, do not mingle with your guests!). In fact, most of the time you’ll hardly notice I’m there…
I solemnly swear: it’s not going to feel like a film set.

I’ve been a wedding photographer for 13 years now. And oh, the stories I could tell…
I’ve had a bride’s dad turn up with kids’ trousers (and another dad with no suit at all). I’ve had rain-swept ceremonies, missing rings, and more “is that the time already?!” timelines than I can count.
And honestly? It’s fine. It will always be fine. The building could fall down – we’re still gonna get some awesome photos, and we’re gonna have a bloody great time doing it!
You’ll never have to worry, fuss, or “have a quick word”. I’ll problem-solve and delegate; revelling in the chaos, and wrapping you up in calm. Bringing that positive energy that’ll just soak through your whole experience.

And obviously, we’ll pray for a glorious sunset! But there’s something kinda magic about running into the rain…

But then one day you’ll look through your wedding album together. And as you turn the pages, your memories of the day will come tumbling back.
Those warm-fuzzy feelings, the energy, the excitement. Morning calm, and confetti hair. The tears you didn’t catch, the jokes you didn’t hear. The story of a day that slipped by you unseen.
And quietly with time, the story will change…
“Look how young we were there!”, and ”That’s your Great-Grandad!” Half-remembered moments, and long-forgotten smiles. People you love, and faces you miss.
And more than anything, that’s what I want to give you. An album that endures, and gathers value with the years.
You blink, and then you’re dancing. That really is how quickly it goes.

And when we go for your couple’s session together, that’s what I want to capture. That cuddles-on-the-platform closeness.
Not whispering in each other's ears, or wrapping your arms around a tree. But those ordinary moments that feel like home.
So we’ll go for a wander, we’ll chat, we’ll have fun. If you wanna do something different- piggybacks, champagne sprays- I’m up for it. If you’d rather just chill, we can do that too.
And sure, we’ll chase the light- we’ll get a few showstoppers, and some wall-worthy frames.
But more than anything, we’ll get pictures of you. Cosied-up and smitten in that ‘just-married’ glow. Loved-up and laughing away from the world.
You’re on the platform together, waiting for the train. And quietly- for no reason at all- they wrap their arms around you.

I NEVER PLANNED TO BE A PHOTOGRAPHER
My love of cars had me buying my first camera at 18, purely to capture the sport I loved.
But in 2012 I was offered a lucky break in the wedding industry and quickly swapped my love of capturing petrol-heads… for newlyweds!
Now, I couldn’t imagine a life without the unique, exceptional and unforgettable couples I get to spend my time with.
I currently live near Farnham, Surrey.
I love a strong morning coffee, travelling to some of the South’s (and beyond) most sought-after wedding venues and destinations, and poring over my beloved camera kit.
